New Balance have made some impressive updates to the Hierro shoe, from enhancing the traction to creating a more secure fit, the second generation makes for a great choice when it comes to serious trail running.

The new Vibram mega grip outsole greatly increases grip and durability, while the deeper lugs that are spaced further apart cater for enhanced traction when running on loose terrain. A newly designed Fresh Foam midsole offers an additional 2mm of stack height and creates a more comfortable underfoot feel.

Utilising a new 3D resin print allows for a seamless, irritation-free wrapping of the foot for security, whilst a toe protect design provides you with added protection from rocks and other debris.
