The Gel-DS trainer 20 is an ideal shoe for preparation running and working on getting those times down.

The shoe has a rearfoot and forefoot GEL® cushioning system which attenuates shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allows movement in multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle.

The Solyte® midsole material is a lighter weight midsole compound than ASICS' standard EVA and SpEVA® and it also features enhanced cushioning and durability.

The ComforDry™ Sockliner is a removable sockliner that provides cushioning performance and anti-microbial properties for a cooler, dryer, healthier environment.

The outsole is constructed from a blown AHAR rubber outsole material with high abrasion-resistant qualities for added durability, combined with a comfortable, cushioned ride.

Structured

If you have a normal arch, your feet overpronate, which means they roll inwards too far when you run. A normal inward movement allows for the natural absorption of shock, but overpronators can be susceptible to injuries. This means you should choose a shoe with supportive, structured cushioning, allowing the shoe to support the trait.
