With the LunarGlide+ 2 Nike set about building a shoe for today’s female athlete. In addition to being built on a women’s specific last, the women’s Nike Lunar glide+ 2 addresses the key physical differences between men and women.
On average, women weigh 10 to 15 % less than men, and therefore have less mass compressing a shoe’s midsole. To account for this, the women’s Nike Lunarglide + 2 includes more soft foam under heel than the men’s model, providing the softer cushioning women need. With its two-part, gender specific external heel clip the Nike Lunar glide +2 is able to meet the female specific need of comfort, fit and support.
The new women’s Nike Lunarglide+2 constantly adapts to your every stride to deliver the plush cushioning you want and the support you need in an all together lightweight package.
There is a partial bootie construction for added comfort and fit and the even-lighter ultra-light LunarLite system blends plush cushioning and response for a smooth ride.
The Dynamic Support provides stability for underpronators up to moderate overpronators.
The outsole features gender-specific flex grooves to promote a naturally efficient stride while BRS 1000 at the heel provides durability, traction and appropriate shock absorption.
Brand New built-in Nike Flywire provides a snug fit and a lightweight lockdown to ensure your feet are properly supported to avoid impact or trauma.
Using extended Flywire support around the midfoot, a more breathable and resilient mesh, a seamless upper and an improved and slightly narrower forefoot design, you can be sure that it performs and fits better than the original Nike Lunarglide+.
