The Lunarelite 2+ has been re-designed and re-modeled to make the shoe more flexible and more responsive.
Nike have used a hot knifing process to create finer, deeper siping in the outsole which has resulted in the shoe being more flexible and giving a much more responsive ride than the previous model.
The upper has also ben updated both aesthetically and technically as it now has flywire along a large part of the upper creating a more stable upper which hugs the foot beautifully to create that authentic running fit.
Lunarelite+ 2’s Dynamic Support platform takes the Elite franchise back to its roots as a lightweight trainer while enhancing cushioning and maintaining a consistent level of support (for those who need added support).
Nike's Lunarlon cushioning system features a soft yet resilient foam core encased within a supportive foam carrier for lightweight, ultra-plush cushioning, springy response, and support.

The wedge is encased within the midsole leaving the footbed flat (as in a conventional shoe) for optimal comfort and runner-specific support.
