The women's Windblocker 2.0 Jacket from New Balance is a great piece of apparel for those Autumn and Winter runs when you need that extra bit of protection. The Wind Blocker Jacket provides a thermal wind block in a stretch knit jersey to keep you warm in windy conditions. It is semi-fitted, so will cling close to your body, but not snug - Following your shape with ease of movement.
Hi-Viz gators at the forearms provide extra visibility and elemental-protection, with nose-wipe (essential during icy Winter runs!) and ICE trim. It has secure internal pockets for storage of personal belongings such as keys and phones. The internal pocket is music-player friendly, providing a wire guide and exit valve for tangle-free, easy organisation of headphone wires. There is a reflective linear New Balance logo at the left chest.
The Jacket provides front and back reflectivity details, offering you increased safety for when running in low light conditions so you are constantly kept visible and safe from oncoming traffic and obstacles. The Membrane Technologies within this jacket ensure that you remain cool throughout your run and safely regulate body heat. The membranes draw heat away from the body to allow sweat to escape. They are rated from 0-20,000, (signifying the number of mm2 of liquid that can pass through the membrane within 24 hours) with the Windblocker Jacket 2 having an exceptional rating of 15,000.
