The Wave Prophecy comes new to the Mizuno family for the SS11 running shoe range and represents the pinnacle of the brand’s technology and design. Demonstrating all of Mizuno’s unique running shoe technologies including Dynamotion fit which brings amazing levels of comfort with a fit that adapts to the movement of your foot.
Engineered for runners demanding outstanding performance and wanting the most responsive cushioned ride available, the feeling of the Wave Prophecy is unique. Two full length wave plates replace the traditional eva midsole and makes for a super responsive comfort and feel. The ability of the Wave plate to alter in structure based upon the level of pronation present is one of the most exciting features of this flagship shoe.
When the heel hits the ground the wave disperses energy through the entire full
length wave plates and then in one harmonious single movement, springs back an
unparelleled responsive energy return into the forefoot area for a smooth toe off.
The Prophecy's Wave system will go on delivering outstanding cushioning for much longer
than traditional foam midsoles which often compress over time and lose their elasticity,
cushioning and support.
